ChookNet provides the free ad service in good faith and accepts no responsibility for advertisers who may use the service. Where payment is required for goods prior to delivery eg. fertile eggs it is the responsibility of the purchaser to verify the sellers credentials prior to payment of goods at all times. If you pay for goods advertised and do not receive them please report the matter to the police immediately and advise us of the seller's contact details so that we can remove their advertisment and block their member login.

Advertising

You may advertise chickens, other poultry and related products and equipment, general items - all things to do with poultry.  In the non-poultry section you can advertise items to do with sustainable living as well as your sustainable city or country properties. Unlimited free online text and photo ads for private advertisers, business advertisers by arrangement*. Free Club and Breeder Directory entries. Free club entries in Shows & Events calendar.

Business Advertisers

* Australian businesses only by arrangement.  Strictly no overseas business advertising is allowed.  Advertising placed without permission will be removed and advertiser's login disabled.

* Business advertisers free ads must include a business email address eg. yourname@yourbusiness.com.au (no gmail or hotmail email addresses, and no .com email addresses) and all business ads require approval by admin. 

* To ensure their authenticity, businesses advertising their website on ChookNet must have an Australian .com.au domain name.

* Business advertising which does not comply with the above will be removed. 

* ChookNet reserves the right to change the business advertising policy without notice.

* ChookNet reserves the right to revoke permission for business advertising without notice.  

Business advertisers please use the Contact Us form to let us know what you would like to advertise and we will let you know if it's OK.  In most cases we will approve business advertising so please don't hesitate to ask.

Advertising in Properties for Sale

Free online text and photo ads for private advertisers, cost for real estate agents is $27.50 per ad (inc. GST) with or without photo please contact us for details. Pay once and list until sold. (Tax invoice supplied)

Image Specification for ChookNet Ads

To submit your picture online your image file must comply with the following criteria or the upload will fail:

Valid file types: jpg, gif
Maximum file size 200 kb
Maximum finished size 400 wide x 400 pixels high, but any size equal or less than this is OK.

Images taken directly from a digital camera are too big and must be resized using image editing software in order to comply with the required image specification.

How to Resize Your Picture

You can resize your picture online for free at the website www.shrinkpictures.com choose custom size and type in 400 pixels for the finished image size.
