After sifting through all the advice I was given as to how to pack eggs for transport via Aust Post, I came up with the following: wrapped each egg in a tissue or piece of paper towel, lined the bottom of a chinese container with sawdust, layed 3 eggs spaced apart in it, packed tigt with sawdust to fuill any gaps. Wrapped containder in 1.5m of bubble wrap. Did this for both containers I sent and put into an express post bag. Got confirmation email today that all eggs arrived safely at their destination in Tasmania and that this was the best way my buyer had ever seen eggs packed for postage. Will definitely be doing this again. Contributed by farmchooks, of Northam WA.
